A one-night-only performance of instrumental improvised music intended to embody the natural cadence and flow of the surrounding environment during a summer sunset on the lake. Come for the bubbling, cyclical rhythm & drone on the water, stay for the hypnotic breath and drum weave setting the aural scene for your evening picnic. Bring a blanket or a boat to comfortably immerse yourself in the world you are living in, here and now, with the live soundtrack to memorialize it. Ancient, universal musical signatures like intonation, drone, pentatonic scales, and polyrhythm will accompany the slowly shifting scenery in a collective effort to open the portal to the total absorption of sound and setting, the naturalist's trance. Floating encouraged.
